Compass point case study

Compass Point

The works involved the removal of combustible materials identified following an External Wall System (EWS) inspection.Compass Point is a detached purpose-built residential block, spread over 4 floors. The building is largely constructed of masonry with aluminium windows/curtain walling, pitched roofs weathered in concrete tiles and concrete floors.

Our scope included supply and installation of Metalline ULT2 Euro class A1 panels to replace the noncompliant-rated panels identified in the EWS report. Works involved removal of noncompliant panels and insulation and then supply and install of new cavity barriers, insulation and replacement aluminium panels.

We had to liaise closely with residents and ensure disruption was kept to a minimum which was only possible through extensive stakeholdering and regular client liaisons conducted by our dedicated site management team.
